House Re-Elects Boehner As Speaker

WASHINGTON (AP) -- The 113th Congress is in session.

The House re-elected John Boehner as speaker.

The embattled Ohio Republican will serve another two-year term.

In the Senate, Vice President Joe Biden swore in 12 new members elected in November and South Carolina Republican Tim Scott.

The former House member will fill the remaining term of Sen. Jim DeMint, who resigned to head a Washington think tank.
