Hot, But Generally Dry Week Ahead

By  |

High pressure will take over across eastern Carolina through the upcoming work week bringing an end to the very wet conditions through the first half of July.

As we trim down the rain chances and increase the sunshine the temps will reach the low 90s all week long with heat index values pushing the upper 90s. Each afternoon will carry about a 20-30% chance at a shower or storm. More typical conditions for mid summer.

With quieter conditions settling in the only thing that could bite us out there is the rapidly increasing mosquito population. Keep the bug spray handy.
