The Bermuda High has been working westward from the Atlantic Ocean into our area over the past few days. The high will bring generally sunny and hot conditions are we move through the weekend. Afternoon highs will be close to 90 degrees Friday and lower 90s over the weekend. A stray shower or storm may develop but most of the area will remain free of rain.
The beaches will see mostly sunny skies with just a few cumulus clouds. Rip current risk will be moderate through the weekend. Southerly winds will blow at 10 to 15 mph as afternoon highs reach the middle 80s.
