A Goldsboro man is facing more than a half dozen charges after troopers say he led them on a two county chase.
The chase began in Duplin County and ended in Sampson County with a Highway Patrol cruiser wedged underneath the man's SUV. The trooper was not injured.
Tari Rasberry had his first appearance this morning. He's been charged with assault with a deadly weapon on a government officer, felony flee to allude, fictitious tag, driving while license revoked, reckless driving, speeding, assault on a law enforcement officer, injury to personal property, and no insurance.
Rasberry's bond was set at $100,000 secured.

The Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that left a chased vehicle leaning up against a utility pole and a trooper's cruiser wedged underneath the SUV.
Troopers say it ended shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Pugh Road, north of Clinton in Sampson County with the accident.
Highway Patrol tells us they were assisting with a pursuit in Duplin County that crossed into Sampson County. Stopsticks were placed on the road but didn't work. Troopers say the SUV and patrol car collided and ran off the side of the road with the SUV ending up on top of the patrol car.
No troopers were injured.
The driver of the SUV, Tari Antwaun Rasberry of Goldsboro was taken to the hospital but has since been released. He is now in the Duplin County jail.
