Havelock Police: Substance Not Synthetic Marijuana

Havelock Police say they will return merchandise to a convenience store after testing it and finding it is not synthetic marijuana.

Police say complaints about illegal fake pot or "spice" sold at Super Expressway on East Main Street between the end of last year and January led to them confiscate 1100 grams of the product in question.

An SBI chemical test showed no banned substances and no charges were ever filed.
