A woman who was hired to clean an elderly woman's home in Halifax County has been arrested and is accused of taking money while on the job.
The Halifax County Sheriff's Office says 45-year-old Belinda Beckett of Roanoke Rapids took money from an elderly woman who hired her to clean her home.
Beckett is charged with exploitation of an elderly person, larceny, and possession of stolen property.
Beckett was given a $5,000 bond and is due in court later this month.
