Grifton Man Arrested Following Drug Trafficking Investigation

A month long drug trafficking investigation ends with a local man behind bars.

Kinston Police and the Lenoir County Sheriff's Office worked together on the arrest of 32-year-old James Mason Gibson.

Officials say Gibson is facing multiple charges for trafficking and selling a Schedule II narcotic pain medication, known as Nucynta prescription pills.

Gibson was put in the Lenoir County Jail under a $500,000 bond.
