Greenville Woman Arrested On Heroin Charges

Deputies say weeks worth of surveillance paid off with an arrest.

Pitt County deputies arrested 45-year-old Jennifer Day of Greenville. They say they've been doing surveillance on day for the past few weeks; in that time they got 37 doses of heroin off the streets.

Last Wednesday, deputies say they did a traffic stop with Day and found 10 doses of heroin with her. She was charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell and deliver heroin, maintaining a vehicle for the drug, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Day's bond was set at $25,000.
