Local law enforcement officers and firefighters will be honored during an appreciation dinner Tuesday night.
The Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its annual Law Enforcement and Fire Rescue Appreciation Dinner Tuesday.
The dinner is a way of showing gratitude for all of the dedication and commitment law enforcement officials and firefighters put into the community, making it a safer place to live.
At the dinner, two distinguished awards will be given: The Pitt County Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award and the Greenville Fire Rescue Employee of the Year Award.
The appreciation dinner will take place 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at City Hotel and Bistro in Greenville.
