Greenville Restaurant Owner Concerned About Safety Following Break-In

The owner of a local restaurant that fell victim to a break-in says she's seeing a pattern and wants whoever is responsible to be stopped.

Roashel Rolla owns RJ's Famous Chicken & Barbecue on Memorial Drive in Greenville, which was broken into on November 15th. It's right down the street from Peaden's Grill, which was broken into Wednesday night.

Rolla says the man on her security cameras was in the store for two hours, stole $1,300 from her safe, change from the gumball machine, and damaged doors and windows. but that's not what's keeping her up at night since the break-in.

She says, "It's more or less I want to feel safe. I want to be able to, I want my employees to feel safe. I don't want to come in here looking and hoping nobody robs us tonight, and nobody come up in here."

Rolla says she's glad everyone at Peaden's is okay, and says she believes the two break-ins are connected.

Greenville Police have not indicated that to us at this time. No arrests have been made in either case.
