Greenville Residents Ready For Spring's Official Start

Tuesday is the last day of winter according to the calendar and we found some people excited for a warm up in temperatures.

At Greenville's Town Common, people were out Tuesday afternoon enjoying the warm and sunny weather. Wednesday March 20th marks the first official day of spring. James Boyd says he has big plans for warmer weather.

"When spring rolls in, look here, I got my fishing equipment ready. I've been talking about it. I want to help my mama grow her grass. We're going to have a ball this year," said Boyd.

Just because it's almost spring doesn't mean chilly weather is over. Later in the week we could drop down to high temperatures in the 40's.
