NEW INFO: Greenville Police Searching For Gas Station Armed Robbers

Greenville police said the search continues Wednesday after a pair of armed robbers ripped off a local gas station.

Sergeant Joe Friday with Greenville Police said at 9:20 Tuesday night, officers were called for an armed robbery at the WilcoHess Station at 1110 North Memorial Drive in Greenville, near the airport.

Police said the duo came in wearing hoodies, bandanas over their faces, and guns in their hands.

As one man jumped the counter, the second man acted as a lookout, according to reports.

Officers said the pair grabbed cash from the register and took off on foot.

No one was hurt during the robbery.

The suspects are described as 2 black males with bandanas over their faces. Witnesses say they came into the store with handguns, demanded money, and ran away with cash.
