COPS: Longtime Cocaine Dealer Arrested

Greenville police say a 10 year investigation led them to a major drug dealer Tuesday morning.

44-year-old Jeffrey Wright of Greenville was being held on a $5 million bond accused of distributing more than 200 kilograms of cocaine and other illegal drugs over a decade. Officers say on Tuesday they seized a kilo of cocaine with an estimated street value of $100,000, 10 firearms, 20 automobiles, and $20,000 in cash.

The Greenville Regional Drug Task Force, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Drug Enforcement Administration all assisted in the arrest.
