Greenville Police Investigating Shots Fired From A Vehicle

Update: Greenville Police have given the all clear in their campus-wide search for a suspect they say was seen running onto campus after shooting from a vehicle near McDonalds on 10th Street.

Police say they no longer believe the suspect is on campus and it is safe to resume normal activity.

Greenville Police are investigating shots fired from a vehicle near McDonalds on 10th Street.

They say a black male wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans was seen running onto campus near Parking and Traffic Services. The male was armed with a handgun.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Greenville Police at 252-329-4315. Information can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 252-758-7777.

Police are advising you to not to walk alone at night and remain aware of your surroundings at all times. Report any suspicious or criminal activity as soon as possible.
