Greenville Police Investigate Robbery Of An ECU Student Near Campus

Greenville Police are investigating the robbery of an ECU student near campus.

Officials say that it happened around 2 a.m. Saturday morning in the area of 5th and Library Streets. The victim says that he was assaulted by 3 men, and had his wallet, cash, and cell phone stolen.

The victim had minor injuries.

The robbery was reported in the late afternoon to police.
Officials say the victim was able to describe one of the suspects as a black male, with skinny build, short hair, wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.

The suspects fled in an unknown direction of travel.
