Greenville Police Find Four Pounds Of Meth In Woman's Trunk

A traffic violation on a Greenville street led police to seize approximately four pounds of crystal methamphetamine.

Greenville police have charged Tierra Ramirez of Duluth, Georgia with numerous trafficking and conspiracy counts.

Police say on Saturday officers stopped the Dodge Charger near Stantonsburgh Road and Allen Road. After a police canine alerted to the smell of drugs in the vehicle, they searched the car and found the meth in the trunk.

The drugs have an estimated street value of $120,000 and police don't believe Greenville was the woman's final destination.

The 29-year-old Ramirez was jailed on a $400,000 secured bond.
