Greenville Police Arrest Two More Suspects In Shooting

Greenville Police have arrested two people in connection with a shooting from earlier this year where one person was injured.

Thursday afternoon they charged 16-year-old Dymel Dquan Clark and 22-year-old Jermaine Spruill with attempted first degree murder and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

The arrests stem from the January 5 shooting outside of the entrance of the Economy Inn on Stantonsburg Road.

The victim, Demarus Williams, suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Clark is in jail under a $500,000.00 bond and Spruill received a $1,000,000.00 secured bond.

A third suspect, Jordan Allen Stokes, was charged earlier this month with two counts of felony conspiracy and placed in jail under a $2,000,000.00 bond.
