A teenager who was reported missing Tuesday has been reunited with her family.
Sgt. Blanchard with Greenville Police says 16-year-old Destiny Alligood surfaced around 10 p.m. at a local television station. A police officer took her to the police department where she met her mother.
Alligood was reported missing after she wasn't at JH Rose when her mother went to pick her up Tuesday afternoon.
Police say 16-year-old Destiny Alligood, was dropped off at JH Rose high school this morning, but she wasn’t there when her mother arrived to pick her up.
Police have spoken with friends of Alligood who report she was emotionally upset at school Tuesday morning. Family and friends are worried for her safety and are appealing to the community to help find Alligood. She's described as 5,3", 220 pounds, with multicolored hair. Police say her hair is black on top and blonde underneath. She was last seen wearing wearing tan pants, a white sweater, and a black hooded sweat jacket
