Greenville Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed At Gunpoint

A pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint late Thursday night.

Greenville police say a driver for Domino's Pizza went to a home on Sunset Avenue around 11:30 p.m. The resident said he had not ordered a pizza and on the way back to his car the driver was approached by a gunman who demanded money.

The driver handed over the cash and the robber told the victim to get in his car and leave. No one was hurt.

Police say the gunman was a black man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and a bandana. He was last seen running toward Glenwood Drive.

A police report says a semi-automatic handgun was used.
