Greenville Pastor Hosted Free Christmas Meal For Homeless

A Greenville pastor says she told members of her ministry to not only give to each other this Christmas, but to give to those in need.

Mary Mahone of the Truth and Life Deliverance Ministry in Greenville says Jesus told her to have a dinner for the homeless on Christmas day, and that's exactly what she did. A meal of turkey, ham, green beans, and corn was available for free Tuesday. Pastor Mahone says it was a lot of work, but it was good work in the spirit of Christmas.

"My members, I, and a few more people that donated- we wanted to create a homeless home and a loving atmosphere for them today, and that's what we did," said Mahone.

Along with the food, the ministry bought gloves, hats, and blankets for the homeless.
