Greenville Men Arrested For Drugs Near High School

Two Greenville men are facing charges of having selling, or delivering drugs near a high school.

Detention Center officers said 53-year-old Bernard Paige and 59-year-old Richard Palmer are facing similar charges.

A police department spokesman says the two are accused of drug activity near J.H. Rose High School.

Paige was arrested by Greenville police, accused of two counts of manufacturing, possession, selling, or delivering drugs within a thousand feet of a school. Paige is also charged for possession of cocaine and other drug materials. His bond was set at $150,000 ahead of a first court appearance.

Palmer was also arrested by Greenville police, accused of making, having, selling, or delivering drugs within a thousand feet of a school. According to charges, police linked Palmer to both cocaine and heroin. Palmer's bond was set at $50,000.
