Greenville Man With Criminal Record Back Behind Bars

A man with a criminal record dating back almost two decades is back behind bars on new drug charges.

Jail officials say the Greenville Police Department arrested 35-year-old Dennis Johnson of Greenville Monday; he’s accused of selling cocaine.

Johnson’s record dates back to 1994 with a conviction for assault; he has been off parole since 2009, after serving a prison sentence for assault with a deadly weapon.

Johnson is in jail under a $250,000 bond.
