Greenville Man Escapes Christmas Eve Fire At His Home

A Greenville man escaped his house after it caught fire Christmas Eve.

It happened at his home at 2615 Calvin Way in Greenville just before 1:00 p.m. Monday. Greenville Fire and Rescue tells WITN the fire started in the man's bedroom, and he was able to get out of the house unharmed. No other parts of the house were damaged and no one else was inside. The exact cause of the fire is still unknown.
