Greenville K-9 Unit Finds Drugs, Loaded Gun

The K-9 Unit of the Greenville Police Department was successful in getting drugs and a loaded weapon off the streets Sunday morning.

Police say Officer Neague and K-9 Chesty were patrolling in the area of 3rd and Nash Street when K-9 Chesty found a loaded .32 caliber semi-automatic pistol on top of a carport. The carport is located behind a house on the 200 block of Nash street.

Marijuana and digital scales were found near the gutter area.

No arrests have been made as of now.

Greenville Police say K-9 Chesty is an invaluable member of their team.
