Greenville Home Invasion Under Investigation

A woman who says she allowed a man to come into her home to use her phone, ended up the victim of a home invasion and was robbed at gunpoint.

Greenville Police say it happened Sunday afternoon at an apartment complex on Clubway Drive.

The victim, 61-year-old Beverly Wright, told police she let a man come in and use her phone. That's when police say two other men came inside and held her at gunpoint and stole more than $1,400 worth of her belongings.

Sgt. Joe Friday says they are still investigating the case and working on possible leads in hopes of making an arrest soon.
