Greenville Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint Easter Morning

We are working to find out more about an armed robbery reported on Sunday before most Easter sunrise services began.

According to a Greenville police report posted online, officers were called to the Kangaroo gas station at 2195 Evans Street at 1:37 Sunday morning for the report of an armed robbery.

The police report said one 52-year-old woman was the victim of the armed robbery, as well as the business itself.

The report indicates there were two robbers and one handgun involved.

No injuries were reported.

We are awaiting further information from investigators to find out if anything was taken during the robbery.
