Gunman Cuts Store Phone Lines Before Robbing Greenville Dollar General

Police are looking for a gunman who robbed a Greenville discount store Tuesday night, the second robbery at the store this year.

The Dollar General Store on Airport Road was held up around 8:35 p.m. by a lone gunman.

A police report says the robber first cut the store's telephone lines before demanding money from the store.

The robber made off with between $300 and $400 in cash from the store.

The person was armed with a semi-automatic handgun, though the police report did not list any description of the robber.

In April, police say a man armed with a shotgun held up the same store.

In that case the gunman got away on a mountain bike with an undisclosed amount of money.
