The reward in an unsolved double homicide is more than doubled thanks to Governor Pat McCrory.
The governor announced Friday his office is now offering up to a $10,000 reward in the murders of Tyrone Beamon, Jr. and Shaundrea Juanette.
Last November 5th their bodies were found in a bathtub inside a home on Waller Road outside of Mount Olive.
Two young children, a one-year-old and a three-year-old, were found unharmed in the home. Authorities believe the children were in the home with the dead bodies for a day or two.
This reward is in addition to a $6,000 reward already being offered by the sheriff's office and the family.
Anyone having information on the double murder should contact the Wayne County Sheriff's Office at (919) 731-1481 or the State Bureau of Investigation at (919) 662-4500.
