A helicopter golf ball drop with a $500.00 prize had plenty of people anxious to see the results of who would bring home the winnings.
Tuesday night at Pitt Community College on the baseball field, a helicopter dropped over 900 golf balls onto the field, seeing which one would get closest to a "cup" with a flag in the center of center field.
In the end, it was a kid who won, Matthew Berly.
People were able to buy one ball for $5.00 or a set of three for $10.00.
All additional proceeds went towards the Pitt Community College Foundation.
