Gas prices are rising and people filling up are wondering how high they will go.

Folks in New Bern Friday were filling up at a Shell station where the price of gas has gone up several cents this week, like other stations. And its not just New Bern. Residents in surrounding communities have been vocal on social media about the price increase.

According to gasbuddy.com, the average price of gasoline is $3.49. We saw it as high as $3.59 in Greenville.
