A natural has leak has closed down an elementary school here in Eastern Carolina.
Carteret County Schools say Morehead City Primary School has been evacuated because of the gas leak next door at Swinson Park.
The school system says all students and staff have been evacuated to West Carteret High School. Buses will leave around 1:30 p.m. with students on their regular routes.
Parents with proper ID can pick up their children at the high school.
