GPD Asks For Public's Help To Find Landlord's Killer 1 Year Later

Tuesday marks one year since a Greenville landlord was found killed and the murder case still remains unsolved. Greenville Police are asking for you're help to find the person who killed 64-year-old Michael Burgwardt.

Burgwardt was found shot several times at 3212 Summer Place apartment 4. His body was found at about 9:45 a.m. in the apartment he used as an office while managing the apartment complex. He was last seen alive the previous night at about 8:30 p.m. Police say significant leads have been developed and are being followed, but they're still asking for the community's help. Burgwardt's family is also announcing a reward in addition to any money that Crime Stoppers would pay for information that leads to the arrest of suspects in this case.
