While you've been busy trying to stay warm in the cold, repair companies have been busy fixing furnaces. Furnace repair companies, like Davis Heating and AC in Jacksonville, have some of their busiest days on the coldest days of the year. Last night the Slaughter family in Jacksonville had to rely on body heat to stay warm.
"We bundled up in my room- piles of blankets and warm pajamas and just slept together. The kids loved it," said Delshawn Slaughter.
A Davis Heating and AC repairman says when you have your furnace going full blast, it really has to be in tip top shape and it's a good idea to have your heating and AC system checked when you first switch on your heat to make sure you don't make any damage worse.
