Furloughed Workers To Clock-In Thursday Aboard Military Bases

By  |

Local military installations in the east say civilian workers are being called back to work Thursday morning after President Barack Obama signed the bill that ended the debt ceiling debate until 2014.

Officials aboard Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point said the nine civilian workers who had been furloughed were notified and called back to work Thursday morning.

We're awaiting word from Marines at New River Air Station and those aboard Camp Lejeune about furloughed workers and return dates for those employees.

On October 7th, workers were called back to work at the commissary on Camp Lejeune and New River.
