Four Williamston Men Facing Drug Charges After Vehicle Stop

Four people are facing drug charges after Williamston police say they stopped a suspicious vehicle last week.

Police say the vehicle was stopped in the 200 block of West Pine Street around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Inside they found a stolen .22 caliber revolver, an undisclosed amount of marijuana, narcotic packaging materials and other paraphernalia.

Those arrested were:

Deandre Stokes, 19, of Williamston. He's charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver schedule VI controlled substance, possession of stolen firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Stokes' bond was set at $100,000.

Quintarius Smallwood, 23, of Williamston. He's charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver schedule VI controlled substance, possession of stolen firearm, possession of firearm by convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Smallwood's bond was set at $100,000.

Shaquille Barnes, 21, of Williamston. He's charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver schedule VI controlled substance, possession of stolen firearm, possession of firearm by convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resist, delay, or obstruct. Barnes' bond was set at $40,000.

Devonte Barnes, 20, of Williamston. He's charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver schedule VI controlled substance, possession of stolen firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Barnes' bond was set at $20,000.
