Four Arrested At Suspected Meth Lab In Duplin County

Four people are in custody after a suspected meth lab bust this morning.

Duplin County Sheriff Blake Wallace says two children lived in the home where meth was being made.

SBI agents and Duplin County deputies are on the scene at 214 Kitty Noecker Road outside of Pink Hill after a month long investigation led to the bust.

Sheriff Wallace says the four adults who live there will be charged with possession of meth and meth precursors, manufacturing meth, and maintaining a dwelling for manufacturing meth.

24 year old Joshua Gross, 28-year-old Katie Garrett, 30-year-old Jillian Houston, and 31-year-old Nicholas Powell are all in custody.

Sheriff Wallace says a 7 and 9 year old live at the home and they are at school now. He says DSS will take custody of the children.
