As crews work to repair a leak in the main water supply line to Fort Bragg, officials there have declared a water shortage emergency.
Post spokesman Tom McCollum said repairs are under way by Fayetteville public works employees.
McCollum said the break occurred off the post.
A city official said the line should be restored by Friday.
