A former maintenance employee at a student apartment complex is accused of breaking into 19 apartments, many over the Christmas break.
Curtis Prax worked at North Campus Crossing in return for rent, according to Greenville police.
He was charged last Friday with 19 counts of felony breaking entering and larceny after breaking entering.
Police say they recently began investigating numerous reports of break-ins at the apartment complex where there was no sign of forced entry. Items stolen included money, electronics and jewelry.
The bulk of the break-ins happened when students were gone for the holidays. Police expect additional victims to come forward as students return to class next week.
Prax posted a $100,000 bond and has been released from jail.
