Former, Current City Managers Brainstorm On Future Of Greenville

The Greenville City Council has its sights set on economic development and members are getting a little help from a man with a lot of experience managing cities including Greenville at one time.

Charlotte Deputy City Manager and former Greenville City Manager Ron Kimble took part in the annual planning session Friday and Saturday in Greenville to give an overview of what he see's working well in downtown Charlotte and how they pay for city projects. City Manager Barbara Lipscomb says she looking at some of the tools used in
Charlotte and hopes it leads to discussion on growth in Greenville. Going forward city officials want to identify the needs in the city and address issues that will move Greenville forward.
