One business in the east is asking for help in supplying a local shelter with food for the holiday season.

OneMain Financial in Washington is collecting non-perishable food donations for the Zion Shelter & Kitchen until Friday, December 21st. If you would like to help, you can take your non-perishable food donations to the OneMain Financial branch located at 2009 W. 15th Street in Washington.

The branch manager, Leigh Humen, says many of those less fortunate rely on the shelter for what some take for granted -- eating a hot meal. She says, "The couple that runs it dip into their own limited income when they do not have donations."

Zion Shelter & Kitchen is located at 114 E. Martin Luther King Junior Drive in Washington.
