Film Crews Transform New Bern's Tryon Palace Into Sleepy Hollow

A historic landmark in the east got a Hollywood makeover Monday.

Production crews from Wilmington transformed the Tryon Palace in New Bern into the village of Sleepy Hollow.

The new FOX series set to debut this fall is being produced in North Carolina. 20th Century Fox says Monday's shoot at the palace involved creating special effects fire.

Filming is also planned at New Bern City Hall, Cedar Grove Cemetery and Glenburnie Park, though the majority of the filming will be at the palace.

Film crews will be at the palace again from 8:00 p.m.Tuesday - 3:00 a.m. Wednesday
