Farmville Police Investigating Sunday Afternoon Shooting

Pitt County Communications says that they provided dispatch for a reported male shot in the area of Godwin Drive in Farmville just before 2 p.m. They tell us that Farmville Police are investigating.

Officials say that victim was transported to Vidant Medical Center. The severity of the injuries is unknown.

Farmville Police investigators were not immediatley available for comment.
