Family Displaced By Fire

A fire in Onslow County Friday night has left a family without a home.

Chief Michael Jarman with the Richlands Fire Department says around 6:45 p.m. about 25 firefighters from four departments responded to the fire at a mobile home on Beulaville Highway in Richlands.

Jarman says no one was hurt, but the home is a total loss and the Red Cross is helping the displaced family.

It took about 30 minutes to put out the fire and the cause is under investigation.
