Firefighters in Lenoir County arrived to a Kinston home on Saturday evening to find a fire they believe may have been intentionally set.
Fire officials in Lenoir County told WITN a vacant home at 308 East Blount Street in Kinston was on fire around 5:45PM on Saturday. Officials said when they got there, three-quarters of the home was up in flames. The owner told them the house was vacant, and he had not been to the home in the past three months.
The investigation continues.
