FEMA: Hurricane Irene Temporary Housing Must Be Vacated By April 1

Hurricane Irene survivors who have been living in temporary housing provided by FEMA are getting notice that time to stay there is quickly running out.

Fema teams will be out delivering letters of notice to people in temporary housing units that they have to leave by April first. FEMA says when individuals were placed in temporary housing they were given the April first deadline, and signed documents that said they could only stay until April first. FEMA says it will continue to provide those in need with rental resource referrals.
