Emergency Assistance Device Under Recall

A device used to get emergency assistance with the press of a button is under recall.

Linear has recalled 175,000 Personal Emergency Reporting System Transmitters due to battery signal failure.

The battery clips in the transmitters can corrode causing the device to not emit a low battery warning, which makes the wearer think it is still functional.

The recall includes model numbers DXS-62A, DXS-62A1 and DXS-64.

If you have one of these transmitters, you should immediately contact Linear for a free replacement.
