Police have charged a Jacksonville man with shooting another man in his neighborhood.
Cyrus Hemby has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to inflict serious injury after the noon shooting on Leonard Street.
Police say the victim, 25-year-old Andre Moore of Jacksonville, was shot in the foot. Moore was taken to Onslow Memorial Hospital where he's in stable condition.
The 74-year-old Hemby was arrested without incident and jailed on a $120,000 bond.
