ECU's New Medical School Students To Receive White Coats

The Class of 2018 at East Carolina University's school of medicine will be welcomed in an induction ceremony Friday afternoon.

About 80 new medical students will receive their white coats at ECU as part of the annual white coat ceremony.

Those coats will be worn in patient care areas. The students will also recite a medical student pledge.

The ceremony will be 12 p.m. Friday in the Brody Medical Sciences Auditorium at ECU.
