ECU senior point guard Miguel Paul has been suspended for the first two games of the season for a violation of team rules.
The announcement came Saturday afternoon before the Pirates tipped off against Washington and Lee.
Paul will miss Tuesday's game against Methodist. He will be allowed to return for ECU's Friday night home matchup against UNC-Greensboro.
