ECU's Midnight Madness Provides Students Alcohol-Free Halloween Party

East Carolina University is throwing a free Halloween party for students at Dowdy Ficklen stadium. The creepy makeover began Tuesday morning for the annual Midnight Madness party scheduled to start at 10:00 p.m. Thursday and run until 2:00 a.m. Friday. The event is alcohol-free and smoke-free and gives students a safe place to party.

Thousands of students are expected to show up in costume to enjoy haunted lazer tag, black light putt-putt, a photo booth, karaoke, and a DJ. The winner of the costume contest takes home $200 gift card.

The alcohol/ smoke free event has been provided on campus since 1993.

Midnight Madness is a collaborative effort of several campus offices, including Student Activities and Organizations, Campus Recreation and Wellness, Campus Living and Dining, and ECU Police.

This event is free to all students, faculty, and staff and one guest. ECU says you can register your guest by 8pm October 31st at the link below which lists other ECU Halloween events. Each person needs a valid photo ID and ECU 1 Card.

Walk up guest registration is available from 9:30pm-1:00am October 31st at the Guest Kiosk at Gate 7 for $5.
